OF NOTICE
The State of Missouri to the above named Defendants:
You are hereby notified that an action has been commenced against you in the Circuit Court of Miller County, Missouri, the object and general nature of which is quiet title and which affects the following described property situated in Miller County, Missouri:
All that part of the following described property lying West of the County road, more particularly described as follows:
The West half of Lot 1 of the Northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 40 North, Range 13, and a parcel in the South part of the West half of Lot 2 of the Northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Range 13, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said West half of Lot 2 of the Northwest quarter; thence in a North westerly direction following the fence as now located to a black oak tree standing on the East side of the County Road, and said black oak tree being 202 feet in a Northerly direction from the center of a certain branch in the West half of Lot 1 of the Northwest quarter of said section; thence continuing in a Westerly direction to the West boundary line of said West half of Lot 2 of the Northwest quarter at a point 50 feet, more or less, North of the Southwest corner of said half lot; thence South to said corner; thence East to the place of beginning.
Also conveying the East part of the East half of Lot 1 of the Northeast, quarter, and the Southeast corner of the East half of Lot 2 of the Northeast quarter of Section 1, Township 40, Range 14, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the West half of Lot 2 of the Northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Range 13; thence North 50 feet more or less; thence in a Westerly direction to a walnut tree standing about 68 feet Northwest of the beginning corner aforesaid; thence continuing in a Westerly direction across the creek to the foot of the hill or bluff; thence following the foot of the hill or bluff in a Southerly direction to the South line of the East half of Lot 1 of the Northeast quarter of said Section 1, Township 40, Range 14; thence East to the Southeast corner of said East half of Lot 1 of the Northeast quarter; thence North along the range line to the place of beginning.
The names of all the parties to said suit are stated above in the caption hereof, and the name and address of the attorney for Plaintiff is Jeffrey E. Green, P.O. Box 174, Osage Beach, Missouri 65065.
You are further notified that unless you file an answer or other pleading or shall otherwise appear and defend against the aforesaid Petition within forty-five (45) days after the 1st day of November, 2023, Judgment by default will be rendered against you.
It is ordered that a copy hereof be published according to law in The Advertiser, a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of Miller, State ofMissouri.
