For years now, I have been genuinely concerned about our state legislator's need or desire to continue to fund charter schools. During last year's general session, Rep. Caleb Rowden of Columbia pushed hard to pass the ability to start charter schools in Boone County. Many elected officials, for some reason, push the same agenda.
