Sandra Joyce Wyrick
Sandra Joyce Wyrick, 82, of Russellville, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born January 13, 1944 in Brazito, Missouri the daughter of the late Elroy and Helen (Winingham) Busch. On May 6, 1962 at Hickory Hill Baptist Church in Hickory Hill, she was united in marriage to Paul Wyrick who preceded her in death on July 30, 2014.
Survivors include: sons, Philip Wyrick (Regenia) of Eldon, and Bill Wyrick (Laurie) of Russellville; daughter, Becky Schulte (Randy) of California; ten grandchildren, Amy Christensen (Cameron), Ashley Wansing (Peter), Clay Wyrick (Rachel), James Wyrick (Sierrah), Cole Wyrick (Alex), George Wyrick, Josie Wyrick, Justin Schulte (Tarah), Heather Voegeli (Ben), and Maria Fogarty (Austin); twenty-two great-grandchildren; siblings, Curtis Busch (Bertha) of Eugene, Ronnie Busch (Lynnette) of Brazito, and Barbara Long (Terry) of Jamestown.
Along with her parents and husband, a niece, Jacqueline Busch preceded her in death.
Sandy was a devoted member of High Point Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher and participated on numerous church committees. She dedicated many years to the Moreau Fire Department, serving as both secretary and treasurer.
Throughout her career, Sandy worked for MFA Exchange, Shelter Insurance, and the Eldon School District before retiring. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she worked alongside her husband on their farm, helping raise turkeys until Paul’s retirement.
Above all else, Sandy cherished her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. At family gatherings, she could always be found surrounded by children, sharing laughter, creating memories, and rocking the babies she adored.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 from 10 a.m. to noon at High Point Baptist Church in High Point, with the funeral service beginning at noon, with Brother Monte Shinkle officiating. Burial will follow at High Point Cemetery.
Memorials in her name are suggested to High Point Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
