Candidate for Miller County R-III School Board
On April 2, 2024, patrons of the Miller County R-III School District will have the opportunity to elect two directors to a three-year term for the Board of Education. Persons interested in declaring their candidacy as a school board director may do so at the Superintendent’s Office in Tuscumbia, MO from December 5, 2023, through December 26, 2023. Office hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that central office is closed due to holidays or inclement weather. All candidates must meet qualifications provided by statute in that they are a citizen of the United States, a resident taxpayer of the school district who has resided in Missouri for one year preceding the election, and is at least 24 years of age.
