The Miller County Commission will accept sealed bids until 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Miller County Commission’s Office, P.O. Box 12, Tuscumbia, Mo., 65082, on the following Miller County two-year audit.
1. Miller County is seeking proposals from independent accounting firms for competitive sealed proposals for the Miller County single audit.
2. The contractor shall conduct an independent audit for Miller County.
3. The contractor shall conduct an audit of Miller County’s financial statements. If financial statements are not prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), the contractor shall make appropriate report modifications and disclosures.
4. The contractor shall conduct an audit of the county’s financial statements in accordance with the following:
a. Generally accepted standards as promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
b. The standards applicable to financial audits contained in government auditing standards as issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
c. U.S. OMB Circular A-133, as required.
5. The contractor must be currently licensed by and in good standing with the Missouri State Board of Accountancy.
6. The contractor shall perform all services to the sole satisfaction of the Missouri State Auditor’s Office and the Miller County Commission.
7. Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall furnish all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein. Bids for auditors working remotely will not be accepted.
8. The contractor shall conduct the audit for the year ending December 31, 2022.

PRICES QUOTED SHALL
REMAIN FIRM AND FIXED FOR THE ENTIRE CONTRACT.
