Request for Proposals (RFP)
Lawn Care of District Grounds
The Iberia R-V School District is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide lawn care services of district-owned property. The purpose of this RFP is to secure reliable, professional services that ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained grounds.
1. Services shall include, but are not limited to:
● Regular (on average every 10-12 days) mowing and weed-eating of all areas on the property, including the baseball field and softball field.
● Non-scheduled services may be requested depending on grass growth or upcoming district events such as graduation, end-of-year activities, etc.
● Blow grass clippings off sidewalks.
● Incidental trash pickup shall be an included service. In short, we do not want trash simply mowed over and shredded.
● Maintain a neat and professional appearance of grounds. Frequency of service should reflect this goal.
● Report any observed hazards or damage of district property.
2. Vendor Qualifications
● Provide proof of liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage.
3. Proposal Should Include
● Name, address, and contact information
● Description of experience and qualifications
● Proposed service schedule
● Pricing structure per visit - Include all labor, equipment, materials, and disposal costs. The district reserves the right to request clarification.
4. Contract Term
● A multi-year contract/agreement shall be made available to the winning bidder, dependent on continued high quality of work and responsiveness to requests.
5. Submission Instructions
● Proposals must be submitted by Friday, February 20, 2026 at
2 p.m. by email, mail, or hand delivery
