The City of Eldon Fire Department will begin flushing water mains and fire hydrants throughout the city starting Monday, June 2. The flushing process will start in the northern areas and move south, progressing from east to west until the work is complete.
Residents are advised to use caution when doing laundry during this time, as water may appear discolored or cloudy due to temporary disturbances in the system caused by the flushing. This discoloration is harmless and should clear up shortly after the flushing in your area is complete.
