Vacancy District Board
There are Two (2) positions becoming vacant on the Rocky Mount Fire Protection District Board of Directors in 2025. These are both 6-year terms. The first Day for Candidate filing is December 10, 2024, the last day to file is December 31, 2024. Candidates may obtain their declaration of candidacy filing packets at Rocky Mount Fire Station #1, 20401 Brendel Blvd. Rocky Mount MO 65072 beginning at 8:00 AM on the December 10th, 2024. Candidates will be responsible to ensure their filling is submitted to both Morgan and Miller County Clerks prior to the filing deadline, failure to do so will result in the candidate being withheld from the ballot.
Qualifications to serve as a director include: Candidate shall be a resident and registered voter of the district for a minimum of one year prior to the election and over the age of twenty-four (24) years.
If elected the Candidate shall complete Fire District board training class, this is a one-day class.
