REQUEST FOR
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CITY
ENGINEERING SERVICES
The City of Eldon is accepting proposals for on call professional consulting for city engineering services, within the scope of practice of engineering services as defined by the laws of the State of Missouri. Services will include, but is not exclusive to the engineering of roadways, sanitary sewer collection and wastewater treatment systems, water distribution and supply systems, storm water conveyance systems, drainage and storm water management, construction administration and observation, surveying, plan reviews for preliminary plats, final plats, major and minor site plan reviews, other capital improvements projects, and general on-call consultation services.
Information provided to the City must include at a minimum:
1) The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to roadways, sanitary sewer collection and wastewater treatment systems, water distribution and supply systems, storm water conveyance systems, drainage and storm water management, construction administration and observation, surveying, and plan reviews.
2) The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services.
3) The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules with a listing of past experience with completion.
4) The firm’s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located.
5) References for related work performed for previous clients within the last five years.
6) Documentation of compliance with E-Verify requirements.
The firm will be selected based upon the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, an engineering services contract shall be negotiated for a three year term with an optional three year extension. The engineering contract shall not be an all-inclusive contract. The City may solicit a Statement of Qualifications from engineering firms for specific projects at the discretion of the City. Contracts will be executed, upon entering into an agreement for engineering services, within 30 days after selection unless time is extended by mutual agreement of all parties.
