Sealed bids for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer Collection System Improvements; Contract No. 2 will be received by the City of Iberia, Missouri at the office of the Owner: Iberia City Hall, 803 Hwy. 42, Iberia, Missouri 65486, until 11:00 a.m. local time on February 24th, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The projects consist of:
Gravity Sewer Extensions and Grinder Station Abandonment: Installing seven (7) new sewer lines including removing and replacing approximately 1,210 LF of 8” pipe, installing approximately 3,985 LF of 8” pipe, removing and replacing 10 manholes, installing 26 manholes, 104 LF bore and casing for 8” pipe, installing approximately 1,820 LF of service lateral, abandoning 16 grinder pumps and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Grinder Pump Replacements: Removing and replacing one duplex grinder pump system and six simplex grinder pumps as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Sewer Interceptor Improvements: Removing and replacing approximately 651 LF of 8” pipe and installing 12” pipe, remove and replace 3 manholes and one flared end section and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Force Main Improvements: Installing approximately 3,783 LF of 8” PVC force main pipe, abandonment of two existing 6” force mains, 57 LF bore and casing for 8” pipe and coordinating with Contract 1 Contractor for force main improvements tie in to lift station improvements.
Collection System Rehabilitation: Approximately 3,270 LF of 8” CIPP lining, 24 CIPP service lateral liners, 7 point repairs, 19 cover and frame replacements, 103 replacement of frame seal and external wraps, 77 VF of epoxy lining, 195 VF of curtain grouting, 5 bench and invert rehabilitations and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on February 10th, 2026 at the Iberia City Hall, 803 Hwy. 42, Iberia, Missouri 65486. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the bidding, and to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon and/or State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246
This project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which required that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment be given to lower-income residents of the project area and contracts for work in connection with the project be awarded to business concerns which are located in, or owned substantial part by, persons residing in the area of the project.
This project is being financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, established by the State of Missouri Water Pollution Control bonds and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri and a Community Development Block Grant administered by Missouri Department of Economic Development.
