Airpark Pavilion Electrical
The City of Eldon is actively seeking sealed bids to complete the electrical installation for the new steel pavilion at the Airpark located at 500 Franklin Ave, Eldon Missouri.
SCOPE
• Dimensions of Pavilion are 40’x80’From the new 100-amp to the old existing 240 power feed, install 52’ of wiring and 100-amp outdoor weather box.
• Eight 150-watt, LED, self-contained lights will be needed.
• Six outdoor weatherproof electrical boxes with six GFI outlets will be needed.
• All outlets need to be six feet off pavilion floor.
• The north and south side outlets need to be separated. Three outlets on each breaker.
• All electrical must be in metal conduit.
• Lights will be controlled by a photocell that will be located on the roof of the pavilion.
• A bypass switch to control lights should be installed.
• There is existing conduit installed from old existing electrical box to north side pole of pavilion. It just needs wire pulled through it to the new electrical box that needs to be installed.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
The successful bidder shall:
• Maintain appropriate liability insurance and provide proof of insurance as required by the City.
• Possess or obtain a valid City of Eldon Business License prior to beginning work.
• Be responsible for obtaining any permits required for the project.
• Perform all work in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, building codes, mechanical codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
• Be responsible for the proper removal and disposal of existing equipment and materials.
• Provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the project.

BID SUBMISSION AND
OPENING
Sealed bids must be received by the City of Eldon no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure the bid is received by the city prior to the deadline. Late bids will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 am. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Eldon City Hall, 101 S. Oak Street, Eldon, Missouri 65026.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“SEALED BID –

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The City of Eldon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Eldon.
The city is not obligated to accept the lowest bid. In evaluating bids, the city may consider price, qualifications and experience of the bidder, proposed equipment, warranties, anticipated completion schedule, ability to perform the work, and other factors determined to be relevant to the successful completion of the project. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
