REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS
SUCKER ROD FENCE – ELDON CEMETERY
The City of Eldon is accepting sealed bids for the removal and
replacement of fencing at the
Eldon Cemetery, located along 128 County Road CC-2 (Eldon Road), Eldon, Missouri.
Project Summary
• Total Fence Length:
1,668 linear feet
• Installation of new sucker rod fence including posts, rods, and gates
Materials
• 2-7/8” Posts:
• 8’ Posts: 209
• 9’ Gate Posts: 4
• Black plastic caps required on all posts
• 7/8” Sucker Rods:
• Total: 6,672 feet (25’ sections)
Scope of Work
• Remove and properly dispose of existing fence
• Install new sucker rod fence and all components
• Sand and paint entire fence black
• Complete all work in a
professional manner
Gates
• Four (4) 8-foot-wide gates
• 48” height to match fence
• Must match existing front cemetery gates
• Painted black to match fence
Contractor Requirements
• Verify all measurements and site conditions
• Provide proof of liability
insurance
• Hold a valid City of Eldon business license
• Maintain clean and safe
worksite; remove all debris
