Street Repair and Rehabilitation Project
The City of Eldon is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the repair and rehabilitation of designated city streets. Work shall include milling, asphalt placement, subgrade repair, and all associated labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project.
Project Locations & Scope of Work
North Street (Grand to Godfrey)
• Dimensions: 30’ x 1042’
• Scope:
• 3” complete mill out
• 3” black base
• 2” asphalt overlay
• Subgrade Repairs (2 locations):
• Remove failed subgrade areas
• Install 1” clean rock
• Compact in 6” lifts to subgrade
• Areas include:
• 6’ x 40’
• 6’ x 80’
Court Street (Walnut to Godfrey Street)
• Dimensions: 24’ x 360’
• Scope:
• 3” complete mill out
• 3” black base
• 2” asphalt overlay
First Street (Grand to Walnut Street plus dead end)
• Dimensions: 30’ x 932’
• Scope:
• 3” complete mill out
• 3” black base
• 2” asphalt overlay
• Subgrade Repairs (9 locations):
• Remove failed subgrade areas
• Install 1” clean rock
• Compact in 6” lifts to subgrade
• Areas include:

Walnut Street (1st St Intersection to Court St Intersection)
• Dimensions: 32’ x 550’
• Scope:
• 3” complete mill out
• 3” black base
• 2” asphalt overlay
Material Specifications
• All asphalt shall meet BP-1 specifications
• All work shall comply with
applicable Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT)
standards unless otherwise
approved by the City
General Requirements
• Contractor shall provide all
labor, materials, equipment, and traffic control necessary to
complete the project
• Contractor is responsible for site safety and maintaining access for residents and
emergency services
• All disturbed areas shall be
restored to original or better condition
• Contractor shall coordinate work schedule with the City of
Eldon
Insurance & Licensing
• Contractor must provide proof of:
• General Liability Insurance
• Workers’ Compensation Insurance
• Bond
• OSHA Certification
• Contractor must possess a valid City of Eldon business
license prior to commencing work
Bid Submission Requirements
Sealed bids must include:
• Total project cost (itemized by street preferred)
• Estimated project timeline
• Contractor contact information
Sealed bids shall be clearly marked:
“Street Repair and Rehabilitation Bid”
Bid Deadline
All bids must be received no later than:
May 18, 2026 at 2:00 P.M.

• The City of Eldon reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City
• The City reserves the right to award the project in whole or in part
• The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances
• The contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status
• This project may be subject to applicable prevailing wage laws (if required by Missouri statute)
• The successful bidder may be required to enter into a written contract with the City
