Airpark Pavilion
Wood Staining Project
The City of Eldon, Missouri is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for wood staining services at the Eldon Airpark Pavilion.
Project Scope:
The project consists of staining all exposed wood surfaces at the Airpark Pavilion, including:
Pavilion size: 40 ft x 80 ft
Outside pillars: 22 total, 6x6 posts, 9 ft 3 in tall
Inside pillars: 6 total, 6x6 posts, 14 ft tall
Trusses: 21 total, 6x8 x 40 ft
Runners: 12 total, 4x6 x 80 ft
Additional beams: 4 total,
2x10 x 80 ft
All exposed wood must be properly prepared and stained.
Project Requirements:
Contractor shall provide all
labor, materials, and equipment
Drop cloths must be placed over concrete surfaces to prevent staining or drips
Picnic tables must be moved as necessary and returned to original locations upon completion
Work area must be cleaned and debris removed upon project completion
Contractor Qualifications:
Contractor must carry current
liability insurance
Contractor must hold a valid City of Eldon Business License
Proof of insurance and licensing may be required prior to award
Bids must be sealed and clearly labeled:
“Bid – Airpark Pavilion Wood Staining”
Sealed bids must be received no later than:
March 6th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. (CST)
Bid Opening March 6th, 2026 2:30 p.m. (CST)
Bids may be submitted in person or by mail and delivered to:

Late bids will not be accepted.
Reservation of Rights
The City of Eldon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or minor irregularities, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Submission of a bid does not obligate the City to award a contract.
