Sealed bids for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment and Lift Station Improvements; Contract No. 1 will be received by the City of Iberia, Missouri at the office of the Owner: Iberia City Hall, 803 Hwy. 42, Iberia, Missouri 65486, until 11:00 a.m. local time on February 24th, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The projects consist of:
NitrOx System Construction: Construction of a NitrOx System at the existing wastewater lagoon, flow control box, approximately 286 LF of 8” DIP piping, access road, chlorination/dichlorination station, flow meter manhole, lift station, electrical service and components, generator and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Lift Station Rehabilitation: Lift station rehabilitation at three existing lift stations including removal of pumps, valves appurtenances and all electrical equipment, installation of new pumps, rails, floats, transducers, DIP piping, check valves, plug valves, all new electrical components, SCADA system, generators, coordinating with Contract 2 contractor for force main improvements at the lift stations and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Lagoon Cell Rehabilitation: Rehabilitation of a portion of one of the cells at the lagoon including removal and replacement of approximately 1,796 SY of clay liner and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on February 10th, 2026 at the Iberia City Hall, 803 Hwy. 42, Iberia, Missouri 65486. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the bidding.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon and/or State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246
This project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which required that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment be given to lower-income residents of the project area and contracts for work in connection with the project be awarded to business concerns which are located in, or owned substantial part by, persons residing in the area of the project.
This project is being financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, established by the State of Missouri Water Pollution Control bonds and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri and a Community Development Block Grant administered by Missouri Department of Economic Development.
