Sealed bids for construction of the SOUTH AND UPPER ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM ADDITIONS for Eldon R-1 School District will be received at the Eldon R-1 School District Central Office at 112 South Pine Street Eldon, MO 65026 until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A certified or cashiers check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
The Contractor shall not pay less than the current prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. Payroll records will be required from the Contractor by the School District.

Checks are payable to “ADS” and mailing costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. A hard copy set of documents or a download of documents at a lower cost are both available through ADS.
Owner, Architect, and Engineer will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda (if any) obtained from sources other than the issuing office.
All Contract Documents must be obtained by the Bidder from taaplanroom or ADS to be an Eligible Bidder.

A Pre-Bid Conference for Contractors planning to bid the Project will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2023. The Pre-Bid Conference will convene at Eldon Board Office 112 S. Pine St., Eldon, MO. A site visit will be conducted following the conference. All General Contractors planning to submit a bid as a prime contractor are required to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids. Likewise, the Owner reserves the right to select the lowest and best bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
