The State of Missouri to the above-named or described Defendants, Greetings:
You are hereby notified that an action has been commenced against you in the Circuit Court, County of Miller, Missouri, the object and general nature of which is to request reformation of deed and to quiet title, and which affects the title to the following described land:
A tract of land lying in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 40 North, Range 16 West, in Miller County, Missouri, described by metes and bounds as follows:
From the Northeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, run, South 82 degrees 29 minutes West 64.25 feet; thence South 89 degrees 46 minutes West 155.0 feet for the point of beginning of the tract of land herein and hereby conveyed; thence continue South 89 degrees 46 minutes West along an existing fence line 203.75 feet; thence leaving said fence line and run South 14 degrees 49 minutes East 524.32 feet to the centerline of the public road 40 feet in width, thence along said centerline North 59 degrees 03 minutes East 58.71 feet; thence North 48 degrees 03 minutes East 50.0 feet; thence North 60 degrees 39 minutes East 100.0 feet, thence leaving said centerline and run North 14 degrees 49 minutes West 409.24 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to road right-of-way.
The names of all parties to said suit are stated above in the caption hereof and the name and address of the attorney for Plaintiff is Mark E. Rector, Allen & Rector, P.C., 135 Harwood Avenue, P.O. Box 1700, Lebanon, Missouri 65536.
You are further notified that, unless you file an answer or other pleadings or shall otherwise appear and defend against the aforesaid Petition, within forty-five (45) days after the 26th day of September, 2024, Plaintiff’s Petition will be taken as confessed and judgment by default will be rendered against you accordingly.
IT IS ORDERED that a copy hereof be published according to law in The Advertiser, a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of Miller, State of Missouri. A true copy from the record.
