The City of Eldon will be holding a Public Hearing on Tuesday,
December 12, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. to present information related to the water rates and future courses of action. The hearing will be held at the Y Building at 1000 Highway Y in Eldon, Missouri.
Specific topics include a review of a proposed change to Section 705.130 Schedule of Charges, a proposal to pursue an increase of water rates by one dollar to the minimum base rate. Citizens who wish to be heard should contact the city clerk to be included on the speakers list. There may be time for open comments at the end of the hearing so that others may be heard.
