Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments (LOCLG) is hosting public meetings to update its Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Coordination Plan for the region which serves Camden, Laclede, Miller, and Morgan counties. The meetings in Miller County are scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The first meeting will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Iberia Friendship Hall, 205 East Main Street, in Iberia. The second meeting will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eldon Community Center, 309 East 2nd Street, Room AB, in Eldon.
The plan is important to many organizations within the region that offer transportation options to the elderly, disabled, and low-income populations. With the approved plan in place, eligible organizations can apply for grant funding to improve and support their transportation efforts. The public is encouraged to attend the meetings.
