NOTICE OF CITY ELECTION TO THE LEGAL AND
QUALIFIED VOTERS OF CITY OF ELDON, MISSOURI
Notice is hereby given that the City of Eldon, Missouri, will conduct its annual Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. At said election, candidates for the following offices will be voted upon:
Mayor – four-year term
Alderman Ward I – two- year term
Alderman Ward II – two- year term
Alderman Ward III – two- year term
All persons wishing to be a candidate for any of the above-named offices must file a Declaration of Candidacy and Missouri Department of Revenue Form 5120 with the City Clerk at City Hall, 101 South Oak Street, Eldon, Missouri and must meet minimum requirements.
For the April 2, 2024, election, the first day of candidate filing is Tuesday, December 5, 2023, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the City Clerk’s office and continuing between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
City Hall will be closed to observe holidays on December 25, 2023, all day, therefore no filings will take place this date.
All persons residing in the City of Eldon, Missouri who are registered voters are entitled to vote in this election. The last day to register to vote in this election is March 6, 2024.
