RECORDING FEE CHANGES
BEGINNING AUGUST 28, 2026
On July 9th, 2026 Governor Mike Kehoe signed Senate Bill 938, enacting a $2.00 increase to fees charged by the Recorder’s office. To comply with state law, the Miller County Recorder of Deeds office will implement the new fee schedule below beginning on August 28, 2026. This fee change affects all real estate documents recorded in any county in the state of Missouri, as well as the cost to apply for a Marriage License. Any recordings received by mail or in person on August 28, 2026 will be charged according to the new fees.
Should you have any questions about this change to the statutory recording fees, please contact my office at 573-369-1935.
