It’s chili cookoff time with Gateway Industries.
The Eldon sheltered workshop will host a chili cookoff competition from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 21 at the Eldon Community Center.
Entries will be judged by a panel of five persons, with cash prizes for first, second and third place. There is a $50 fee to compete in the cookoff.
Admission to the event is $10 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free.
Admission fee gets you as many samples of chili as you desire, along with sample desserts from local bakeries.
The event will also feature live entertainment from the group “Out on a Limb,” a silent auction, live auction and 50-50 drawing.
