Eldon alumnus Susan (Reed) Eads will tell you she was not the best speaker in high school, but she recently spoke in front of a crowd of thousands. She was told she was too little to be a softball umpire, but she was one of the umpires for the Womens’ College Softball World Series. Family, coaches and a dead-certain belief in what she was supposed to do worked to help her overcome all obstacles.
