Electro Hydraulic Rescue Tools
The City of Eldon Board of Aldermen is requesting sealed BID proposals for the purchase of Electro Hydraulic Rescue Tools for the Eldon Fire Department.
All proposals should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Extrication Equipment” and addressed to:

Proposals must be received no later than 10 a.m. Friday, September 15th, 2023.
Proposals will be opened at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15th, 2023. The City of Eldon reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and take such actions as may be deemed necessary in the best interest of the City of Eldon.

rvernon@eldonmo.org. This RFP is to bid on Electro Hydraulic Rescue tools and equipment. All equipment must be UL listed and NFPA 1936 compliant. Please refer to the following:
Extrication Equipment:
E Hydraulic Spreader:
• Maximum Spreading Travel: 33”
• Maximum Weight: 55 lbs.
• Shall include mounting bracket
• Tool must include 2 batteries minimum 8-amp hour
E Hydraulic Cutter:
• Maximum Blade opening: 8.5”
• Shall include mounting bracket
• Tool must include 2 batteries minimum 8-amp hour
Telescopic Ram:
• Maximum Extended Length: 60”
• Shall include mounting bracket
• Ram accessory kit
• Ram support
• Tool must include 2 batteries minimum 8-amp hour
E Hydraulic Combi Tool:
• Maximum blade opening: 16”
• Must include 2 batteries minimum 8-amp hour
• Must include mounting bracket
Batteries and chargers:
• A new, vehicle mounted, 12 volt battery charger (if available) shall be supplied for each tool.
• 2 wall mounted 120 volt chargers shall be supplied.
A warranty on batteries and chargers shall be in writing.
A warranty supplied with the tools shall be made available and in writing.
Additional:
If a Demo set is available and meets the above specifications, a separate bid shall be reviewed. All demo sets shall be in NFPA compliance and be of the latest model tools as new.
All demo sets will be rebuilt to meet all requirements and all batteries shall be new.
A warranty on demo sets shall be in writing.
