The Advertiser is sponsoring a Christmas coloring contest (forms in this week's issue), with cash prizes for winners and runners-up in each of four age divisions.
Age categories are 6 and under, 7-10, 11-14 and 15 and older.
Participants have until Friday, Dec. 15 to color and send the picture back to The Advertiser at P.O. Box 315, Eldon, MO 65026.
They may also be dropped off at 415 S. Maple Street.
Rules include no markers (crayons, glitter crayons and colored pencils allowed) and the entry form must remain attached to the entry.
The youngest two age divisions will color a picture of Santa and Rudolph on the roof of a house, while the older two age divisions will color an ornate Christmas ornament.
First place winners in each of the four divisions will earn $25 from the Bank of Iberia.
The two runners-up in the 6 and under and 7-10 divisions will each receive $10 gift cards to the Eldon Cree Mee.
The two runners-up in the 11-4 and 15 and older divisions will each receive a $20 Whittles gift card.
All winners will be notified and winning artwork will be displayed on the Amy Dunn and Associates’ digital sign across from Woods Supermarket in Eldon.
Winners will also be announced in the Dec. 21 issue of The Advertiser.
