The Advertiser office will again be the official drop-off point for letters to Santa this year. As in the past, your local newspaper will be publishing letters to Santa written by area youngsters, at no cost, before forwarding them on to the North Pole.
This year, all letters will be published in a special Thursday, Dec. 19 Christmas issue.
All children are encouraged to submit letters to Santa, but to ensure publication, the DEADLINE for publication is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13. All children's letters will be typed as received, with no changes made in spelling, punctuation or grammar.
Forms may be dropped off at 415 S. Maple Street in Eldon, or mailed to the Advertiser at P.O. Box 315, Eldon, MO 65026.
