It is a hot, muggy night at the Eldon Aquatic Center and a lone woman carrying a yoga mat is standing at the entrance.  Vonda Greenwalt is a few minutes early for the poolside yoga class she is conducting this summer called Broken Wing Yoga. The class will run every Monday night until the pool is closed in September. 

Holly Lee lost her mother, Linda Tuttle, in November of last year. She and her husband Michael have established a scholarship in her mother’s name for senior Eldon Dophins team members. Holly and Michael are co-presidents of the team. “I just wanted to do something to honor her,” Holly explains. Tuttle had a history of quietly helping  people from  Holly’s classmates to friends and the children she took care of in her home daycare she operated for more than 40 years.

She was told she was too little to be a softball umpire, but she was one of the umpires for the Womens’ College Softball World Series. Family, coaches and a dead-certain belief in what she was supposed to do worked to help her overcome all obstacles.
